BIOGRAPHY:

Bobbie and Wilma Hutson were both born in the first half of the 1940’s in Colorado. They married in 1961, and in 1962 Bobbie entered the U.S. Army. The majority of his military career, which lasted 20.5 years, was spent in the supply and service sector of military hospitals.  Wilma, having an adventurous spirit, followed him, taking their two daughters with them to all of his duty stations. This included two tours in Korea, during which time she kept a travel log. Since Bobbie’s retirement in 1983, they have continued to travel and she has continued her journal .  It now includes pictures and experiences in 62 countries. Bobbie and Wilma live in Las Cruces, NM where, as “late bloomers,” they attended NMSU and each earned BA degrees.  Bobbie is a recognized artist in the community, and they both do much volunteer work.
